Ballet Foundations – 6 Week Course

April 10 - May 15

Bridging the Gap Center for the Arts invites youth and adults to experience the beauty and discipline of classical ballet in our Ballet Foundations course. This welcoming class introduces the fundamentals of ballet in a supportive and encouraging environment designed for beginners and those returning to dance.

Participants will move through a traditional ballet class structure including barre work, center technique, and across-the-floor movement. Students will develop balance, coordination, flexibility, posture, and confidence while learning the graceful foundations of dance.

For adults, ballet offers a wonderful way to improve core strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness while enjoying a creative and low-impact form of movement.

This class is also a great opportunity for parents and children to learn together. Taking an introductory ballet class with your child can be a fun and memorable shared experience that encourages creativity, movement, and confidence for both generations.

No previous dance experience is required — all levels are welcome.
